When we started on this house, there had been some strange "remodeling" done that required a careful hand to restore it to its original elegance. Exterior windows had been covered up, closets had been added and coved ceilings had been squared off. After a careful study, we understood what the original configuration was and returned it to its correct condition. Discovering hidden windows is an incredible bonus. Light in the Pacific Northwest is the most essential ingredient in a comfortable home. Coved ceilings were replicated, original mouldings were milled and installed, and original door and window hardware was located and reinstalled. Subsequent to this photograph, we have added a dry fit entry rock wall that formalizes this wonderful home.
