These are built-in cabinets designed to house the customer's stereo system. We installed interior lighting and a sophisticated ventilation system to keep the amplifiers running cool. The idea was to keep the living room clean and hide all the electronics. To protect the speakers from the kitties, we recessed them in the cabinets and covered them with an antique metal mesh.
